The write up at the booth

"Rotary International is the largest humanitarian organization in the world today. Rotarians are dedicated to the improvement and betterment of the communities that they live in. This year the theme is ‘Reach Within to Embrace Humanity’.

The Rotary Club of Bandar Sunway is proud to showcase one of its iconic humanitarian projects that is the “Leg for Legless’. This project entails in providing artificial limbs to those in need but unable to afford it.

The display concept is Birth of Renewed Hope and it is named Blossoms of Hope. The concept symbolizes the outpouring of love, care and compassion that is given to every recipient of the artificial limb. It also reflects the dedication and precision involved in the process of churning out the perfect limb for the recipient; and the continuous and on-going efforts to reach out to those in need of artificial limbs.

We can provide prosthetics for person to walk again but there are no prosthetics for broken spirits – human compassion and love is the only remedy. Roses depict these values and fits ideally with our theme concept “Blossoms Of Hope”.

More than 3 Million Malaysians have been exposed to  'Floria' via various channels and Rotary's wheel was proudly displayed at the booth by RCBS.
